Why CALM?

CALM exists to change the culture around mental health and to save lives. They provide life-saving services, challenge stigma, and campaign for change. In the UK, suicide is the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45, and CALM is there to support anyone who needs to talk, whatever they're going through.

What CALM Does

  • Helpline & Webchat: Free, confidential, and anonymous support available every day from 5pm to midnight
  • Support Services: Trained professionals who can talk through problems, big or small
  • Campaign for Change: Working to prevent male suicide and improve mental health support
  • Breaking Stigma: Challenging the culture that prevents people from seeking help

Our Challenge

Over 8 days in May 2026, three runners will cross England from the Irish Sea to the North Sea, covering over 190 miles of varied terrain. Every mile we run is a mile for mental health awareness, and every pound raised goes directly to helping CALM save lives.

Support Our Journey
